Old dust covered books line the bookshelves in the chamber. Small instruments used for chemistry, lay on a sturdy wooden table. Cages and lockers line the back wall. Strange creatures can be seen inside the cages, and there are mystifying objects in the lockers. A tool box filled with surgical, mechanical and mystical tools sits near the large table.
The forest of Rhowyn opens around the foot of a small wooded hill. Leaves rustle in the breeze, and small animals dart between the trunks. A trail climbs the hill to the north for the view from the top, while a gentler path leads east around its flank for those who would rather not climb. Back to the south the trail returns to the road.
Here at the top of the hill the whole forest can be seen. Through the branches to the west rises the smoke of several campfires, and somewhere off to the northeast a thinner thread of smoke climbs from a chimney. Northward the forest thins out, and beyond it stands a large white castle. The trail runs down the hill to the north and to the south.
This is a well hidden trail through the forest. Brush has been moved and leaves scattered to conceal it from casual discovery. All of the grass leans down the hill to the west, as if many feet had passed that way. A screen of branches hides the way back east to the hilltop.
The trail winds down the northern side of the hill. The trees toss in the wind all around, and from up here it is easy to spot the forest animals wandering below. Northward the forest thins toward a clearing, and the white walls of a castle show between the trunks. The hilltop is back up the trail to the south.

All is quiet along the path around the hill, except for the rustling of the wind and the noises of forest animals. A little smoke drifts over the trees somewhere ahead. The path continues north around the hill, and west to the foot of the trail.

A blazing fireplace fills the cabin's southern wall, with the skin of a bear stretched before it. Comfortable chairs stand in a half circle around the hearth. A wooden door to the east leads to the back of the cabin, and the front door opens to the west.

Trees are everywhere back here, and the forest is very alive with activity. A pile of firewood is stacked by the door in preparation for the cold weather to come. Birds are chirping, and every now and then other noises can be heard from the surrounding forest. The back door of the cabin is to the west.
The hidden trail runs on through the forest, the brush moved and the leaves scattered to hide it. Many branches lie on the ground here, and the grass still leans to the west, where the noise of people talking can be heard. The trail climbs back east toward the hill.
From seemingly out of nowhere, a small camp appears among the trees. Men in armor made from ebony walk about, and small campfires burn throughout the camp. The camp spreads to the west and south, and the hidden trail leads back east into the forest.
Guards roam by every now and then, keeping an eye out for intruders. The entrance to the camp lies to the east, while to the south is the center of the camp. The camp's quiet northwest corner is to the west.

From the clearing the castle can easily be seen. It has pure white walls with silver and gold colored decorations. Some patrolling guards can barely be seen from here. North leads to the castle, while south leads into the forest.
The trail through the forest leads up to a drawbridge to the north. On the other side of the drawbridge stands a large ivory colored castle, ringed all around by a wide moat. Fields of grass and flowers stretch to the east and west, where a path runs around the castle, and the forest trail leads back to the south.
Flowers grow all over the fields, and insects and small animals roam about the countryside. The castle rises to the northwest across the moat. The path runs north along the castle's eastern side, and west to the drawbridge.

The waters below, however, do not look safe at all, and every now and then part of some strange creature shows beneath the surface. The castle gate is to the north and the forest trail to the south; a way down along the bridge's beams reaches the water.
The water here is crystal clear, and the bottom is too far down to see. It ripples every now and then, as though someone or something were moving in it. The moat runs east and west around the castle, and a place to climb back up to the sturdy drawbridge is right overhead.

The room is dark and dank, with cobwebs and dust everywhere the eye can see. Small rats and spiders scurry out of sight into the shadows. The room is barely large enough for the king to move around in. The only door is to the north.

The air here is very musty and dusty. The room is dimly lit compared to the light coming from the top of the stairs that lead up. To the south prison cells can be seen.
In the dungeon of the castle the light is very dim. Something or someone has opened all of the cell doors here, east and west. There is a light to the north, where the stairs climb back up, and a grunting sound comes from the south.

For some reason this cell is the only one that wasn't opened. It looks torn apart, with scraps and scratches all over the solid ivory and stone walls. The cell door is to the north.

This is a large room with a huge bed in the middle. The bed is very elegant and looks extremely expensive, and rose petals are scattered over it. An ivory night stand with an ivory vase stands beside the bed. The only light comes from several candles. There is a closet to the south, and the way to the throne room is to the east.
Inside the closet hang several dozen of the king's and queen's outfits, a rainbow of colors in a wide variety of designs. The carpeting here is exquisite and seems almost to float in the air. The only exit is north to the royal bedroom.
This hidden vault behind the throne has bright white walls. Treasures lie all over the room, from large rubies to solid platinum bars, though most of it is somehow magically held down. The way out is north, back through the throne room's secret door.
The princess' bedroom is flooded with flowers of every type and color. A large mirror with an ivory frame hangs on the north wall, and the princess' bed and nightstand stand against the south wall. On the east wall hangs a large painting of a prince from a far away land, signed by someone named P.M. Several stuffed animals are arranged on the bed among the pillows.
