The world and its rules
Triggers
In the game: help trigger
/action {<pattern>} {<commands>} (or /ac, /trigger, /tr)
/action lists your triggers
/unaction {<pattern>} removes one
/t- {<pattern>} or /t+ {<pattern>} turns one off or on
/ignore turns all triggers off, or on
A trigger watches the game's text: when a line has the pattern in it, its commands run, as if you had typed them.
/ac {the grate is closed} {open grate}
Patterns ignore case, and can hold these:
- any text %d a number %w a word {a|b|c} any one of these ^ first the line must start with the pattern $ last the line must end with it ~ the next character as itself (~* is a star)
What the wildcards matched is %1, %2... in the commands. Put ( ) around the parts to keep when not all of them matter:
/ac {%w gives you *} {say Thanks, %1!}
/ac {You get (%d) gold coins from *} {/add gold %1}
If triggers fire more than 20 times in two seconds (a trigger setting off itself), they all turn off; /ignore turns them on again.
