Use <Wand> <Target>

Using staves will automatically target everybody (or everything) in a room, in some cases, or everyone not in your group in others. Therefore staves are naturally very powerful, and yet may be very dangerous to use around other players.

Using wands require that you point it at a target, which can be either a character or an object.

Staves must be held to be used. Wands may be held or worn to be used. (Some 'wands' are actually magic rings, and such, that cast spells when used.)

Some wands or staves do not look like a stick, but take on other strange forms. A round rock could be a staff, and a glowing cap could be a wand!
