Use this to travel together and to share the experience from kills.

To make a group, a "leader" must be selected. All members of the group must then "follow" the leader using the follow command. The leader should follow him or herself. The leader can now toggle group membership for each player in the group, by using "group <player_name>". The leader should remember to include him or herself in the group.

Group with no argument show a list of people with whom you are grouped.

Group all groups everyone following you, including yourself.

NOTE: You can only add someone who is visible to you and in the same room as you to your group. Once grouped, group members will remained grouped and can still communicate via gtell even if they are separated.

If you are a group member, then you will share experience points for killing monsters. Experience points will only be shared among group members that are in the same location, at the time of the killing blow. Sharing is regardless of whether the group members have been participating in the fight.

1. leader of a group gets 3% exp bonus per kill per other PC in group
2. followers get 1% bonus (per other PC)
3. Newbie groups (groups in which the highest level in the party is less than 11) get an extra bonus of 10% for groups of 2, 20% for groups of 3 or more.
4. Chumps get an extra 5% bonus for groups of 3 or more.
5. A charmed pet's kill gives its master a third of the pet's share.

Example

Quifael and Redferne wishes to group with Dragoun.

• Quifael: follow dragoun
• Redferne: follow dragoun

(Dragoun should be following no one but himself)
Dragoun : group all

Later when Dragoun gets upset at Quifael (because he is sleeping all the time) he types : "Group Quifael" to kick Quifael out of the group. If you want to leave the group you are in, follow someone other than the group leader, such as yourself.

There is a limit to the amount of experience you get per a kill based on the size of your group. See: CAPS
